Error code 05:10 on HP Designjet 510 Plotter

05:10 error code corresponds to HP GL/2 Card.

To rule out its GL/2 Card faulty follow the process.

There are two I/O slots.

  • Try GL/2 card in different slot and see if it works.
  • Remove memory from GL/2 card and install without it check if works.
  • Remove GL/2 card and then switch on plotter and check plotter’s functionality by printing self test.

If the plotter is working without GL/2 card then GL/2 card is faulty

Replace GL/2 card and memory.
